    Installer

    Step 1

    Download the latest version of the Chromatics installer from the above link.

    Step 2

    Run the installer, following the prompts to select destination, etc. Once the installer has finished you can open Chromatics by the newly created link on your Desktop OR by opening Chromatics.exe in the install location (Usually Program Files).

    Step 3

    Chromatics will now start in your taskbar (the area near your system clock). To open the main window, select the arrow in your taskbar, right-click the Chromatics icon and select Show Window.


    Portable (ZIP)

    Step 1

    Download the latest version of the Chromatics portable zip from the above link.

    Step 2

    Before extracting the zip file, right-click on it, select properties, check the Unblock File option and select Apply.

    Step 3

    Extract the zip file using your preferred ZIP archiver program. To use Window's default one, right-click the file and select Extract All.

    Step 4

    Open the newly extracted folder and open the Chromatics.exe file within. Depending on where you extracted Chromatics, it is advisable you run the program as administrator.

    Step 5

    Chromatics will now start in your taskbar (the area near your system clock). To open the main window, select the arrow in your taskbar, right-click the Chromatics icon and select Show Window.

  • Logitech Setup

    FFXIV has implemented native Logitech device support to Final Fantasy XIV and this must be disabled before Chromatics can be used. Please follow the following instructions to disable native support.


    Step 1

    Open the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software (LGS.)

    Step 2

    Click the blue spanner to open the Applet manager. Find ffxiv or ffxiv_dx11 in the list and then unselect LED Backlighting.

    Step 3

    Native FFXIV support is now disabled and you can install Chromatics as per normal.


  • ARX Setup
    Setting up Logitech ARX

    Step 1

    Download and install the latest version of Logitech Gaming Software (LGS).

    Step 2

    Open the App Store or Google Play Store (depending on your device) and download the Logitech ARX mobile/tablet application to your device. Currently ARX is only supported on iOS and Android devices.

    Step 3

    Close Chromatics if it is running and make sure LGS is running on your computer and ARX is enabled inside the LGS software.

    Step 4

    Make sure your mobile/tablet device is on the same WiFi network as the PC running LGS/Chromatics/FFXIV.

    Step 5

    Open the Logitech ARX mobile application. After a bit of automated setup, you will see a connection request prompt from LGS on your PC. Accept this request.

    Step 6

    Launch Chromatics and start Final Fantasy XIV. The ARX application should automatically detect and add Chromatics to the app list.
